CLASS OF 2020
Ballard Graduation Spree

A SAFE & SOBER PARTY

We know that our seniors will want to celebrate with their friends on graduation night, and we want to make that celebration not only fun, but safe. We are asking for all senior parents and interested members of our community to join us in this important effort. We've all watched these kids grow up; now let's make sure they stay safe on what could otherwise be one of the most dangerous nights of their lives. This is all possible with Grad Nights™ ®.

WHY A SAFE & SOBER PARTY?

Prior to Grad Nights™ ®, the tradition for most students was to graduate, then party and drink all night. Many deaths occurred because of this, a fact that most of us unfortunately know all too well. Parents eagerly followed the lead of Grad Nights™ ® lead and joined with one another to provide celebrations that would allow students to spend one last time together as a class in an environment that was alcohol and substance free.

A VIP EXPERIENCE

The all-night senior graduation party has been a tradition in our community for many years and is passed down from one graduating class to the next. From a parent’s perspective it ensures that our kids have a fun and memorable graduation party that is still safe, alcohol and drug free.

VOLUNTEER & MAKE AN IMPACT

Parent volunteers are needed to help out during the event. Volunteers might work in the casino, supervise inflatable games, watch exits, etc. Friends and extended family over 21 are welcome to chaperone as well. We are especially grateful for any volunteers who have medical or law enforcement training.

WHAT PARENTS ARE SAYING

“When I grew up there seemed to always be someone getting hurt or killed on graduation. I feel better knowing that we are keeping them safe on their special night.”

-L. Jackson, Parent Chaperone

“Helping out with the graduation party was a great experience. It was the first time I really participated with a school activity but this one seemed really important. It was so worthwhile!”

-T. White, Parent Volunteer

“We sponsored two seniors to go to the party and felt really good about that. I think it’s important for the class to all be together and no one should be excluded because they can’t  purchase a ticket.”

-G. Martin, Parent Sponsor
