Why A Party?
There are few events in our lives more significant or more invested with the symbolism of hope than our high school graduation. There are few deaths more tragic than those of young people whose lives are stolen from them by an alcohol or drug-related accident as they celebrate the completion of their high school years.
As parents of this year's senior class, we want graduation night to be fun and we want our kids to enjoy their celebration safely. This is why each year we continue our school's important tradition and participate in putting on al all-night event where our seniors can have a fun "last bash" together and as parents, we can have a worry-free evening knowing our kids are safe.
We are proud to continue this important tradition and look forward to putting on this year's party. We invite every senior parent to get involved with us.
KEEPING KIDS SAFE FOR DECADES
In the late seventies, the owner of Grad Nights, spurred by the alcohol-related death of a high school friend, made it his mission to bring the concept of an alternative safe and sober graduation party to Washington State schools.
Parents across the state began to follow Grad Nights™ lead and partnered with them to provide celebrations that provided graduates with a wonderful and fun celebration commemorating their scholastic achievement that was safe and alcohol-free. Together we joined in a mission to Keep Kids Safe and Alive on Graduation Night
At our school we want graduation night to be fun and filled with lifelong memories. We want our kids to enjoy their celebration safely, which is why it is so important that we work together as parents to ensure the success and legacy of our all-night party. We are all committed to an event where our seniors can have a terrific and safe time, and as parents, we can have a worry-free night too.
We are proud to continue this important tradition and look forward to putting on an exciting, fun, and safe party for our seniors!
DID YOU KNOW?
Deaths on Graduation Night
More teenagers are killed on high school graduation night in a drug and alcohol related accident than on any other night.
Drinking & Driving
75% of teen drinkers drink at parties hosted by other teens or their parents. Nearly 100% of those teens arrive by car and intend to drive after the party- whether they drank or not.
Riding with Drunk Drivers
Alcohol is the cause of 60% of all teen deaths in car accidents. More than half of seniors admit to being the passenger of a drunk driver.
MAKE IT THE SAFEST NIGHT OF THEIR LIVES
We want our graduation night to be fun and for all our seniors to enjoy their celebration safely. This is why we have planned this all-night event, one where our seniors can be safe and still have an amazing party! As a parent, you will enjoy a worry-free evening and that peace-of-mind is priceless.
We are proud to continue the annual graduation tradition at our school!
