KEEPING OUR KIDS SAFE WITH A GREAT PARTY!
We know that our seniors will want to celebrate with their friends on graduation night. It's been 12 years of hard academic work for them and they deserve a celebration. As parents, we want to make that celebration both fun and safe!
We are asking all senior parents to join us in this important effort.
We've all watched our kids grow up; now let's make sure they stay safe on what is all too often one of the most dangerous nights of their lives.
WHY A GRAD NIGHTS PARTY?
Prior to Grad Nights™, the tradition for Washington State seniors was to graduate, then party and drink all night.
Many of us who remember those days also remember the countless deaths that were all too often a tragic companion to the wild and crazy graduation parties of those times.
In the late seventies, the owner of Grad Nights, spurred by the alcohol-related death of a high school friend...
A GREAT EXPERIENCE
The all-night senior graduation party has been a tradition in our community for many years and is passed down from one graduating class to the next. As parents, it guarantees that our kids will have a fun and memorable graduation party that is still safe, weapon, alcohol, and drug-free.
VOLUNTEER & MAKE AN IMPACT
We Need Your Help! We're parents just like you and we can't do this alone. We need other parent volunteers to help during the event and in the planning process. Volunteer parents can help in the casino or inflatable games, watch exits, help with food, etc. Friends and extended family over 21 are welcome to help out too as well. We are especially grateful for any volunteers who have medical or law enforcement training.
WHAT PARENTS ARE SAYING
“When I grew up there seemed to always be someone getting hurt or killed on graduation. I feel better knowing that we are keeping them safe on their special night.”
-L. Jackson, Parent Chaperone
“Helping out with the graduation party was a great experience. It was the first time I really participated with a school activity but this one seemed really important. It was so worthwhile!”
-T. White, Parent Volunteer
“We sponsored two seniors to go to the party and felt really good about that. I think it’s important for the class to all be together and no one should be excluded because they can’t purchase a ticket.”
-G. Martin, Parent Sponsor
